Sandbox Mode is a game mode in Jurassic World Evolution which allows players to create a park on any island with the ability to toggle a variety of settings that are otherwise available in the main campaign or Challenge Mode. Sandbox Mode was introduced to the game in Update 1.10, expanding Isla Nublar's original sandbox mode to encompass all islands.

Sandbox Mode is accessed through the main menu and allows you to play a sandbox version of the islands that have been unlocked during the main campaign. Each new dinosaur, building, or research item that has been unlocked through the campaign will subsequently be available for use in this mode.

The player must reach 4 stars on each respective island to unlock it in Sandbox Mode.

Players are given two different preset options for the mode, standard and creative. Although the chosen preset itself cannot be changed once selected, all sandbox settings can be changed at any time during gameplay.

This preset's sandbox settings are designed for typical park management but with unlimited money.

This preset's sandbox settings are designed for minimal restraints and maximum creativity by disabling most of the game's restrictions or management necessities.
