The Fossil Center is an operations building in Jurassic World Evolution. It allows the player to extract DNA from fossils and amber to create dinosaurs.
The Fossil Center is essential to Paleontology and creating dinosaurs. The fossils, minerals, and treasure gained through the Expedition Center are automatically placed here where they can then be extracted or sold for money. If a given species' fossil or amber is extracted, said species genome completion percentage will increase. All dinosaurs are required to reach 50% genome completion before they can be hatched. At 100% genome completion they will have the maximum associated base authenticity rating and lifespan.

Advanced computer mainframes improve DNA extraction by %10 across all island sites.
Chemically Stabilized Storage allows 1 extra fossil or mineral to be kept across all island sites.
- The fossils for several different species of dinosaurs that come from the same family look alike, for example, the Triceratops and Styracosaurus fossils look the same since they are both ceratopsians.
