Bracken is a type of fern that forms part of a herbivorous dinosaur's diet. Bracken has existed for over 55 million years.


If too much bracken is consumed, or the source is tainted in some fashion, then a dinosaur may suffer from bracken poisoning which can cause thiamine deficiency, fever and secondary infections.
